You always cherish the great history defining moments when you’re a true fan of just about anything, and there has been a significant number of these moments in iOS’ history. Yesterday was another chapter, with the launch of a productivity app called Clear by Real Mac Software that will surely pave the way into how apps might behave in the future.

Clear’s fresh approach to list making with the clever use of gestures, pinches and swipes across the app is nothing short of genius and a much-needed approach to help break from the standard mental model that is menu and navigation bars.

I’m glad Apple aren’t the only entity shaping the future of iOS, developers are playing a huge part as well and this is one of those defining moments in the history of iOS you’ll remember forever.
